Completely refurbished, without losing any of the character of the old Farm House, the hotel now offers arguably the most luxurious accommodation in the area. All rooms are en-suite and finished to the highest standards. Ground floor rooms set around a garden courtyard.

All of the hotel’s bedrooms and bathrooms have recently been fully refurbished throughout.

All bedrooms are equipped with all the modern equipment and conveniences you would expect from a luxurious country house hotel. Each room has an LCD flat-screen TV with digital Freeview channels, a CD/MP3 player and a dataport for internet access.

The en suite bathrooms have been finished with a natural-stone tile, which adds to that special feel. Each bathroom comes complete with luxurious toiletries and bathroom products from Gilchrist & Soames.

Food & beverage

Dining in the Courtyard Restaurant is an experience to savour and is intended to be an integral part of one’s stay at Ox Pasture Hall. The restaurant’s new head chef has a reputation for creating beautiful food and has designed a menu to tempt the most discerning taste buds.

The elegant award-winning restaurant is the perfect to relax, unwind and enjoy an excellent meal at the end of the day. On fine summers’ days, you can also dine and take drinks out on the terrace, which overlooks the gardens and the courtyard.

For less formal dining, the hotel’s brasserie is a relaxed alternative to the restaurant. The brasserie has a charming original wood-beamed ceiling, a log burner and a traditional bar.

All the food is prepared in-house by the hotel’s award-winning chefs, retaining the full freshness and taste. Therefore, whether you choose to dine in either the restaurant or the brasserie, you can be guaranteed an excellent meal, served with genuine, first-class hospitality.

We have a large number of attractions and activities in addition to those around our own grounds.

• Whitby is only 15 minutes away with its abbey and atmospheric harbour and old town.

• The Abbeys of Byland and Rievaulx
• The castles of Pickering and Helmsley and the stately homes of Nunnington and Duncombe Hall are all an easy and pleasant drive away.

Travel information

We are a 50 minute drive from York (look out for the signs to Forge Valley from the A170 at East Ayton) or take Lady Edith's Drive from the Scarborough to Scalby road. If coming by train, we are only a 10 minute taxi ride from Scarborough Station.
